Whirlpool dryer - no heat
Model Number: LGR4634EQ1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi,
My Whirlpool dryer (LGR4634EQ1) recently stopped heating. The igniter begins to glow when the dryer starts, but within seconds it stops glowing again. I have already replaced the fuse, and that did not fix the problem. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ads By Google Related Models

Hi Bishop
I am not a gas man so I cannot give you specific ideas, but if you look at the postings on gas dryer on this Forum almost all recommend changing the coils. If that is not the problem you will see other suggestions. You should first check out all of the thermostats for continuity. Good luck, let us know if you need more info.
