Our dryer won't dry. We have replaced the heating coils and checked all of the the things mentioned in previous posts. What should the meter reading be at the heating coil?

Should be around 11 ohms unplugged. Have you checked power to the dryer, should be 230 volts.

I replaced the motor switch and I still have 120 v. to the heating coil, but no heat. Is this correct or should it be 240? The heating coil housing has two safety devices on it. The lower one checks to be closed with an ohm meter. The upper one creates no change on the meter when I check it, but if I run the machine, I get 120 v. through the device.

You have a blown thermal fuse, the one you measured 115 across it, pull it and verify with an ohms meter.
