kenmore dryer not heating
Model Number: 110.87870100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi,
it is model 110.87870100 natural gas kenmore dryer, the ignitor does not glow,therefore no burner. drum spins good. tried replaceing the ignitor with one I had no difference. tried bypassing the sensor in the tube the heat goes from burner to drum, by removing both wire and jumpering them. nothing,,,, the white rectanglar sensor on the exit side tried the same thing (out of desperation)nothing... the electro magnet gas valve did feel warm,but since the ignitor did not glow I ruled this out....
