At least it is after Christmas, but electric dryer, and now husband, has two problems.

1) The motor wants to hum when the start button is depressed. Sometimes it will start, reluctantly. Normally, it just wants to hum and act like it wants to start. I took belt off and nothing changed. Still acting the same way.

2) The regular cycles, which use a moisture monitoring system, are not drying as well. Everything on the timed cycles seems to work fine. But on the regular cycles I have noticed the moisture sensor switch no longer blinks. It is now on all the time in the area of the display that says "less." I took the moisture bars out and cleaned them with alcohol, but that had no effect.
