My Bosch condensation dryer just stopped heating up when it was drying, but the air still blows and it turns. Can I just buy a heating element to install to get the heat going again? Thanks!

Hi Morrison

Unfortunately, if you look at postings regarding Bosch on this Forum you see very little, because it is just not a brand which I (and I think others) are experienced with. I recommend you post on another Forum and see if you can get some help. Be sure to include your model number.

I would certainly try to get some troubleshooting advice,(and a service manual if you can get one) because in many cases with dryers it is not the heating element but thermal fuses/thermostats/thermistors which are the problem, and they cost a lot less than the heating element and are a lot easier to replace. You will want to rule them out before going with the element.

Sorry we could not do better for you, good luck.
