I have a Frigidaire dryer that will not heat. I'm tyring to find the cause.

Hi Motorman

First use a meter to determine that you are getting 120 volts to each side of the connection block.

If so, remove the front and the top and you will find various thermostats and thermal safety defivices (click on your model number to see an exploded diagram) and test these for continuity.

If all check out, you will need to unhook the belt, remove the drum and examine the heating element.
