We have a gas whirlpool dryer Model LGR7620 LWO that will start, give some heat for 5-10 mins, but then go cold. On a restart the heat is practically nonexistant.....the burner tries to ignite but then dies. If you leave it for a while (15-20 mins) it does the same thing all over again. Vent path is pretty good all the way to the outside. Blower seems strong. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.....THANKS...!

Joe,
You most likely have a set of weak gas valve coils,

Part number: AP3094251
Part number: AP3094251

You may need to remove the 1X1 in. square inspection panel on the front panel, and observe the ignition procedure through the opening.
Turn the dryer on and let run for 10 or 15 minutes, then check to see if the glowbar, glows, then cycles off in 30 to 60 seconds and the gas is released and ignited.
If the glow bar cycles on and off, but there is no gas released or flame, order and replace the coils.

Good Luck and Thanks,
:) :) :)
