Dryer Repair

Our clothes are getting stuck in between the drum and the front of the dryer and the part of the clothing that gets stuck turn brown.

Other clothes that are not stuck also have some brown streaks. Are these possibly getting stuck during the cycle in the same place but are pulled loose before we remove the clothing?

I read another previous thread from another frigidaire model that the pro suggested replacing the felt part (AP2150497) and lower seal (AP2143044). these are the same parts as my dryer but i have a different model.

Please help, we'd rather not buy a new dryer.

Yes, just order the front felt, comes as a kit with the high temp. glue. Make sure the dryer drum is shimmed so it mates with the full width of the felt in the front.

just wondering... does anyone have step by step instructions for performing the repair (including shimming the drum)?
