My Gas dryer is about 26 years old, the drum is sagging in the front, the rear bearing is loose. I took the drum out by removing the 3 inner screws from the inside the drum. Now that I'm looking at the bearing shaft, it has a cir clip - how do you put this back together with a cir clip? The drum, heat shield and large washer all need to line up with the rear bearing, seems impossible to do. What am I missing?

Thanks,
T
