all of a sudden my electric dryer will not produce any heat and the timer does not work. how do i troubleshoot?

FIRST thing to check is the power doing to the dryer, make sure the is 240 volts. If there is only 120 volts going to the dryer you will not have heat. Check you breakers/fuses in your electrical panel.
