Default ge dryer is making loud squeaking noise
Model Number: profile   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years   

Im sure that this is a belt problem , my problem is that I cannot figure out how to get to the belt , how do i repair this .

Belts don't squeak but bearings do. Go to www.applianceaid.com for tear down info. You will probably find a worn drum center bearing.

check white pulley on idler arm. also check condition of the four glides around door bearing ,also door bearing itself

A dry rear bearing ground strap will cause an annoying squeel also. Could lube with a high temp grease to stop noise. Have to pull the drum to get at it.
