My dryer's drum stopped turning. What could the problem be? Is it easily repairable or will I need a new dryer?

Hi Jean
The most likely cause is your belt is broekn, an easily repairable item.
Without your model number I cannot be exact in instructions, but most of these dryers will give you access to the drum by lifting up the top, if you have a top vent access there are two screws that hold it down. You can then remove the front and gain access to the drum.
Good luck, please post the model number if you need more help.

Also, if your dryer is less than one year old you should have factory warranty remaining. Call Sears if this is the case.
