My Whirlpool "Gold" dryer has a 5 position"Accudry Sensor" temperature switch. The high setting gets way too hot.All the other settings are fine. What's wrong?

If your dryer is less then a year old I would recommend not to do anything and call the Whirlpool due to one year full warranty.
