Hi I have an Inglis natural gas dryer about 6 years old. Out of the blue the dryer stopped heating up, and it won't shut off. It stayed running all night and didn't get hot and doesn't dry anything. This has been going on for weeks now, I can't really afford a repair man so close to christmas and I'm not a very handy girl, so if you could give me the step by step for dummies, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks, Sherrie

firstly the reason that the dryer "keeps" running is because you were using the automatic cycle and the dryer is not producing any heat... if you were to use the time cycle, the dryer would shut off after the preset amount of time, regardless... Hot "not handy" are you and what tools do you have ?
