if there is heat at start ,i would check the venting at back of dryer to out side. could be blocked or kinked.turn dryer on ,go outside ,check for good air flow, if little flow or none then venting is problem. you can remove venting at back of dryer +test drying a load to see if dryer is fine +venting is problem
