I am trying to figure out how to test this. Please help

Here are your partts
Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FDEB23RGS1 | AppliancePartsPros.com The correct/safest way: Unplug the unit. Remove one wire from the thermal limiter. Measure it with a meter. Should be 0 ohms The jiggery pokery way. Unplug the unit. Short the two limiter wires together. Tape them up so they cannot short to the frame etc. Plug the unit in and give it a try. If blown, replace it ASAP as it is a critical safety device!!!
