Model Number: DPSR483EA1WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Dryer quits running afetr about 10min. seems to be very hot. checked lent screen and vent and have good flow while running. After about 20min am able to re-start again but will quit after another 10min.

Replacement parts for GE DPSR483EA1WW | AppliancePartsPros.com Sounds like your motor may be overheating and tripping it's internal thermal cutout. Can you restart it as soon as it shuts off? OR Do you have to wait a few minutes? Try rotating the drum by hand, it should rotate fairly easily.

That does sound like a motor overheating.
Perhaps try rotating the drum on a couple other units to get a feel for how much resistance the drum should have. Open it up and check that the drum glides etc are OK. Check that the motor is not heavily clogged up with lint. Note: this usually ends up needing a new motor.
