dryer runs for awhile then shuts down before cycle is over
Model Number: dx2300gb1ww Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
The dryer runs for awhile then shuts down before the timed cycle is over. Seems hot also. Also, door switch doesn't seem to turn off dryer when I open door.

Have you been able to restart the dryer right away or it took some time?
Did it make a humming or any other noises at start up? - The part number for the door switch is AP3883929 Gene.

Looks like this a motor.
