Hi,
My gas dryer does not heat. I disassembled my dryer and tested the thermal fuse and that shows continuity so that is not the problem. Next I accessed the igniter and when I test for continuity it shows on the voltmeter 44 ohms...is this the culprit?
I also turned on the dryer at high heat and at first the pilot light did not glow orange. I waited 10 minutes and tried it again and this time it glowed and then started to flame. After 5 minutes, it went out. Is this normal or should the flame be on the whole time it is drying?
Any help and/or comments would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
