Default Heating Problems
Model Number: 11072822101   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

I am hoping to get my dryer fixed and that someone will know what the answer is. This is a Gas Dryer.

Dryer Type: DWSR-NAT-1206006CV22

Dryer will not get very warm. It takes two 80 cycles to get clothes dry and it will be mostly air dried. If you put in clothes for the 20 minute or less cycle they will get warm but not HOT.

I have pulled the dryer from the wall and checked the silver hose for clogs and it is all clean.

A couple of months ago my gas was shut off and since then I have been having troubles. Maybe coincidense? But I did see the gas guy check to see if the thing was lit through the little plug hole.

Most likely the problem with your dryer are a bad coils on the gas valve.

The gas valve coil kit

- The part number for the gas valve coil kit is AP2150379

In order to get access to replace the gas valve coils you have to remove the front panel.
