:mad:the timing mechanism for the dryer seems off. Certain settings do not end when they should, extending the drying time too long.

Probably warped contacts in the timer if the knob is not loose on the shaft. If the timer contacts are visible, you should be able to adjust them, if not, new timer time. AP3995347

By the above do you mean that Timed Dry runs OK but Auto cycles never shut off?
