I believe it just plugs in, but you can take the door apart as described in the Service manual. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for AMANA LGA10AW | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.

I never replaced this part, but due to the part number has been changed by the manufacturer I'm assuming the part design has been changed as well. Take the door apart and you should see how it should be installed.
