My old GE dryer snags clothes between the cabinet and door. When pulled out, clothes are greasy dirty. I suspect worn bearings that have allowed the drum to drop. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get the cabinet apart to check the bearings. I have exploded views, but they do not have good details or give a disassembly sequence. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Thanks, Bill Bill, Unplug the power cord or remove power to the dryer.Open the dryer door and remove the screws holding the top to the front panel. Raise and remove the top panel of the dryer. On each side of the front panel interior approximately 3 inches down from the top of the panel, you'll find a screw, securing the front panel to the cabinet flange, remove both screws. Slightly lift the dryer drum up and pull out on the top of the front panel to clear the drum, lift up and out on the front panel assembly to free the panel from the bottom retainer clips. You can now install the new drum glides Part number: AP2041815
The white glides mount to the sides of the support assembly at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The Part number: AP631382
The green glides mount to the top of the support at the 11 and 1 o'clock positions. Also clean any accumulated debris and lint etc. from the area. Thanks and Good Luck, :) :) :)
