Thanks for the parts diagram sid, on page 8 it is part # 4, it seems the part should pull up, but i can't get it to move, any help would be great, and Thank You very much!

Yes, that does lift off.

Here's what I think is going on.

I am assuming that you are having to replace the motor. If so, when the motor fails it heats up to a very high temperature, and this could have caused the motor lock to freeze/melt/becme stuck onto the motor.

If this is the case I think you are going to have to just cut/hammer/slice it off, and replace it along with the motor if that is what you are replacing.

Let us know if this scenario is accurate, if not we will try to think of something else.
