Dryer will not heat beyond 1st cycle
Model Number: DG 308 Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I have an older DG 308. The ignitor comes on and the gas lights for the first cycle. Once the dryer heats up it will not allow the gas to come on again to heat for a second cycle. The ignitor will come on and glow very brightly but the gas will not come on. The ignitor will continue to cycle on and off but the flame will not light. I have recently replaced the High Limit Thermostat and I also replaced the gas valve solinoids about a year ago. Which part do you think may be the culprit?
