My GE unit just recently WILL NOT STOP when put on an Automatic or Moisture sensing setting. Minute Timer is OK. Prior to this issue if I did not clean the lint filter during the cycle it would run for ever. Once filter is cleaned it ran ok. Recently had items in dryer on a SENSOR setting and it ran for close to 24 hours while I was out of house. (NOT GOOD !!) Don't know how old the unit is as it came with house which was built in late 80's early 90's. I bought house in 2008. Serial Number is VH753320A. Can age be determined from the serial or model info.
