I have a Whirlpool gas dryer. The ingitor works and I get a flame from the burner until it heats up then it starts to make a "grinding" type sound from the burner and I get no flame. I suspect the coils but really not sure. Please advise.

Most likely the problem caused by a bad coils, but there is a small chance for the gas valve itself to bad too. I would replace the coils first.

- The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251
