Model Number: 110.63932101 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I read on this forum about these Even Heat dryers blowing their circuit board and causing overheating problems. So I went to take apart my dryer to see if this was the cause but I ran into two snags. The first is that the wire seen here:
http://************************/view.php?pic=6h7p0g&s=5 http://************************/view...ic=1zg8gh1&s=5 was just sitting there disconnected. It's Yellow with a red stripe and says "105 C" on it. Does that have anything to do with the thermostat? I could not find where this could possibly have been connected so I haven't been able to plug it back in to see if this solves my problem. Where does it plug in to? The second problem I ran into is that I cannot get the blower wheel housing out in order to get a better look at the circuitry stuff which is behind it. How do I remove the blower wheel thing? Here is the tech sheet
https://www.servicematters.com/docs/...%203979705.pdf Here is a parts breakdown http://www.********************************.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=110.63932101&pop= flush Looks like Y/R should go to the moisture sensor, Item 34 in the BULKHEAD section. Looks like two metal strips the wire should go to one of them. Here is a good link http://www.applianceaid.com/whirlpool-dryers.html Especially see #40
