Do I just nee to replace the heating element? Thanks for any assistance - it's greatly appreciated......

There are two thermostats on the side of the heater-can that go out just as much if not more than the heater. If you have an ohmmeter check the thermostats and the heater. To check these first disconnect power then remove the wires from the two thermostats. Then use your ohmmeter to see if you have continuity between the terminals. If you do the thermostats are good if not they are bad and needs replacing. If you find that one of the thermostats is bad, replace both of them (they come as a kit). If the thermostats are not bad the heater is the most likely problem. But just to be sure the heater should have about 10 ohms. Check to see if you have 230 volts to dryer. Motor will run on 115 volts, but no heat
