Default Dryer elements cycle off and on making long drying cycles
Model Number: LER6620pq0   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

Heating elements cycle on as they're supposed to. I hear a click from what I believe is a limit switch and the elements drop out. Within a minute or so the elements all come back in and cycle out again after a couple minutes.

Default

Thats how it works, If the heat stayed on all of the time, It would OVERHEAT!!!!! The temp coming out the back of the dryer should be 135-150 degrees with nothing in the dryer, When the heat shuts down it should cool down to SOMEWHERE around 115-120. before coming back on.
