Whirlpool Cabrio F2 code flashing
Model Number: WED6400SB0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a whripool Cabrio, when I press the start button the dryer starts for half a second then the F2 light flashes. The problem started about 2 weeks ago, I called a local appliance repair company they said the User interface needs replaced. I ordered one online and installed it and it has the same problem. I took it back apart and left the touch pad off to see if it was the problem but it still tries to turn on and then flashes F2 code. The dryer sat for a week unused while we were waiting for the part, I tried it Friday and it worked for a day (5 loads). Now it is doing the same thing again. I hate to keep throwing good money at it but I need it to work asap. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you in advance ,Rob
