Model Number: LGR5636EQ1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
When I start my dryer, it runs fine except recently when I start the Dryer it tries to heat up for about a minute (I can feel the heat) but then just stops heating.
Now, (it's been a few days) I cleaned out everything thinking it just was accumulated lint and now it's not heating at all. When I start the dryer, everything runs fine but no heat at all. I did notice that every couple minutes it makes a rattling noise. I'm going to make the assumption that it is the unit trying to heat up the dryer. What should I check first? Next? first thing to check would be the voltage to the dryer there should be 240 volts going into the dryer, there will be two fuses or breakers.Check them to see if there open. Then we will go from there.
