While attempting to repair my dryer, I neglected to observe exactly how my belt tentioner functioned in regard to its positioning etc. I spied your 2 tentioner diagrams pertaining to Whirlpool models and they differ from mine as my luck usually has it. Theres no spring resembling 1 of the diagrams so its not that model and in the other diagram theres an extra bracket (L) shaped that does not resemble mine either. My bracket slides into 2 small slit openings on the base of the unit and the bracket itself acts as the spring providing tention. Do you have another diagram? The units look like newer models and the sticker is obliviated. Does any of this ring a bell?
