When drying clothes, there is a grinding sound that is constant. Originally took lower back panel off and spayed WD40 but still having problems. I wanted to look at other sections of the inside of Dryer but I dont know how to get inside to look.

I attempted to take a screwdriver to pry the top of the Dryer up but with no success. I felt this would give me the opportunity to get a better understanding of what is wrong.

I cannot find my original manual for a view of the Dryer parts nor is this shown on Maytag's web site when providing the Model Number of the Dryer.

Two things, First, if you have any idea what is causing the grinding nose continuing grinding, can you tell me how to fix. Second, do you have a schematic of how to take the top off and look inside skelton of Dryer.

I would sincerely be appreciative if anyone can help me with this matter.

Thank you,

G. Davis
