Default bad drum felt seal(s) Front and back
Model Number: CG2951XSN2   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: More than 10 years

The Whirlpool Gas Dryer CG2951XSN2, ICX3414556 does not dry the heavy materials like jeans completly. How do I check for the temperature of the dryer reaches 125 degrees or more ? The venting leading outside is OK. I changed thermal fuse #2986 and Gas valve solenoid coil kit #3479. Do you think I have a bad drum felt seal ? I do not see this model number on the web site.

The first thing I would check is condition of the blower wheel (#10 on the bulkhead break down diagram) and the chute (#1 on the same break down diagram) on the back of the dryer.

It should be "W" instead of "N" in the model number.

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model CG2951XSW2
