Dryer will not start - sometimes
Model Number: 11077902792 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
Our Kenmore electric dryer will not start when the start button is pushed. It makes a buzzing sound like it is trying to start. Sometimes it will run after repeatedly pushing the start button. My guess is that the drive motor is going?

Yes, you were right.
The problem with your dryer is a bad start winding on the motor. The job to replace the motor is not very complicated. - The part number for the motor AP3094233 Gene.
