I have a Whirlpool GEW9250PWD front load dryer. It gets excessively hot. I have replaced the thermal fuse and thermistor, and that did not help. What's next?- Thanks.

Have you checked the exhaust vent pipe for kinks, clogs, and vent hood operation ?
The longer the vent, the more restricted the vent, the hotter the temperature in the dryer drum, to the point that the hi limit thermostat becomes the cycling thermostat(approximately 200+dgrs.) Your actual dryer temperature should be 150 dgrs. +/- 10 %.

Try running the dryer for one load, with the vent disconnected and varify the operation and temperature.
