Dryer is heating and turning but making loud rubbing noise. The retaining clip on the blower wheel does not seem to hold the wheel back in place. It will slide forward. Could this noise be from the blower wheel rubbing against the blower cover or not likely. Not sure what needs to be fixed, but that is my first inclination.

Replace the blower wheel, It should not slide around on the motor.:)
