Default Maytag Dryer Squeaking and Timer Problem

Electric Maytag Dryer Model MDE7400AYW... Started with a minor squeak a couple days ago. Now it is really shreiking. I looked at some of the old posts on this problem and the links to the service manuals don't work any longer. So I know I need to open the dryer up and check /oil the bearings but other than that I'm clueless..

The second problem is first the dryer would be hard to turn on when doing the perm Press cycle but it the last two weeks it has progressed to all cycles. I'm thinking just a new timer will fix the problem. Is that just a plug and play?

Default Fixed it!
Replaced idler pulley and both supportpulleys. I think the idler was the main source of the squeak. Fixed problem. Go to youtube to watch video of how to take apart dryer.About 45 minute job to replace all three parts.
