I tried to fix my dryer, without knowing what I was doing and before I found this website. It was running but with no heat, after trying several things, with the cord unplugged, I found this website and tried more things to do. I found that when I moved it a wire came loose, so I reconnected it. But before I figured that out, i took the 4 screws off of the back of the dryer. After trying for a few hours I finally got them back in and aligned. The problem, now, is that when I turn the drum there is a metal to metal scratching sound and it also sounds like a spring (which I am assuming is the heating element) being wound and turned. Can anyone help me with this. I have double checked the model number on the inside of the dryer door, product label tag with the serial number, and this is the correct model number.
