When turn unit on it sounds like bearings are dry (metal grinding sound). It is a loud squeeking sound and is becoming worse. Thought it might be support rollers. Currently unit runs and drys clothes well. I have replaced these rollers before. Can't remember what issue was but, thought it was a loud thumping sound as if I had left tennis shoes in dryer. Thoughts???

Try to remove the belt from the motor and run the unit.If it sounds bad its the motor if not check all of the rollers and spin the drum without the belt connected to check the spin and movement.
