gas not coming on
Model Number: ddg6380balwh Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
i have a gas dryer that came with the home i moved into about a year ago.the dryer worked good for 6 months then the belt that turns the drum broke.i got the parts i needed and repaired it (thanks to APP).I OPEN THE PANEL AND SAW SOME USED MATCH STICKS.i didnt think much about it at the time.the dryer turns but i dont here the gas coming on.this started about 2 weeks ago.it there a possibility that the previous owner had the same problem and used the matches to get the dryer working again(pilot light)maybe?
