Wouldn't shut off regardless of timer setting, i.e. time or dryness

You will need to check your schematic to make sure you didn't put 230 volts to a 115 volt timer motor.

When you say it would not shut off do you mean:
It went past the Off position and continued to run
OR
The timer would not advance

And what is the problem with the current timer.

Do you have a meter, if you do start a timed dry cycle measure the voltage across the timer motor.
Be careful there is 240 volts in the control console which is very dangerous.

Are there different timer models for 110 vs. 240? All i did was unplug one timer and plug in the new one. If 204 is hitting a 110 circuit, wouldn't I have more issues then the timer getting killed?

Old, new and replacement new, don't run. Start dryer and it continues to run until manually shut off.

Only thing I can see that could cause this is the Electronic Dryness Control board OR a broken wire/poor connection.
Cannot find any decent info on this board but the Neyutral side og the timer does go through it.

With the unit unplugged.
On a low resistance scale (200 ohms)
Measure from the Neutral to the red wire on the Dryness control.
Should go to 0 ohms, when the Push TO Start is pressed.
