So my dryer (Whirlpool Electric Model#LER5700KQ1) didn't spin when I started it last night and with the help of this site I've determined that it's broken a belt and melted the plastic guard piece on the motor pulley. I noticed that there is a newer replacement belt and I was wondering if I need to replace the newer version of the idler pulley as well. There appears to be nothing wrong with my idler pulley, I just want want everything to work well together. Thanks in advance!
