Ok, my hubby decided to wash 3 loads of laundry and well now the dryer is not working

Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. Better yet check with a meter to see if you have 220 volts at the plug. Next would be the thermal fuse (Cutoff) in the heater line. Replace if blown. If it is gone clean and check the vent system and the unit's blower wheel. If there is lots of lint in the unit check that the drum seals are OK.
