moved to a new house and had to put a longer power cable on the dryer as the 220 outlet is high up on the wall and needed a 6 footer as opposed to the 3 footer. it's a 3 wire cord and I hooked it up with minimal issues. weird problem though, when the dryer runs, it only blows warm'ish air not hot. once I turn off the dryer and leave the door open and return say, 20 minutes later, the dryer body itself, inside and outside, is burning hot whereas during operation, it was barely warm. I then unplug the power cable and it cools off. how weird is this and what can I do???? any help is appreciated.
