Dryer seizes up
Model Number: 417.90142000 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
My Kenmore gas dryer seizes up after making a series of screeching sounds.
I identified the source of the sound after I dismantled the motor/blower. It seems to come from the forward bearing between the motor housing and the plastic blower unit. Unfortunately I can not separate the assembly to pinpoint the problem. Can you tell me how to disassemble these parts or what should be my next step. Thanks so much  Ads By Google Related Models
