Model Number: 96274100 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
The dryer was running during a thunder/lightning storm and we had a momentary electrical power outage. It was working fine before that. Now it runs but wont heat and doesn't turn off. I have flipped the circuit breakers off and on several times. Had no effect. The knob does move during running, but once it gets to the shut-off point, it just keeps going. I can do simple repairs, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. I thought maybe a new thermal fuse, but since it doesn't shut off, maybe not. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
