Does it start as soon as you close the door?
If it does, then the problem is a bad start switch.

Disconnect the vent hose on the back of the dryer and run a load on auto dry.

Post your findings, please.

Default Dryer won't stop

Thanks for the information I will order the part and try to locate the old part on the dryer. Any idea where I might locate the part on the dryer.

Thanks

Connie

What is the model number of your dryer and what exactly is wrong?

Post it as a new thread, please.

Is this a electric dryer,if so make sure you have 240 at the back of the dryer. A blown fuse or breaker will cause the dryer to run continuous.
