Hi. I have a Maytag gas dryer, about 4 years old. I replaced the timer. However, the heat comes up in Auto dry mode, goes off after about 5 minutes, and the timer does not advance. The heat does not come up at all in timed mode, or the Wrinkle protect mode. It had this problem, with the old timer too.
I have read that I should relace the Soleniod/coils?
Can anyone shed light on this?
Rick
